We had a great turn out from our younger members this year for the 61st Annual June State Championship. 

Nathan Taylor and Cole Byrd battled it out over the week long event and Nathan was able to edge Cole out for the Intermediate Championship.  

In another match, Junior Under 16, Nathan Taylor again was able to cinch the title with a score of 131 and a 1X but Cole Byrd was right on his heals with a 131 and John Klaerner was almost an upset for both of them with a 129.  Talk about a close competition!!  These fellows were serious and I am anxious to see how they shoot next time with the scores being this close. 

The Junior Under 12 title, went to Megan Taylor this year edging out the competition with a 135 and a 1X.  John Klaener came in second and Heath Byrd was third this year.   Take it easy on them boys now Megan!! 

And finally Matt Littlejohn was the winner of this years Junior under 9 match.   Good shooting amigo, keep it up.   

I have seen these young shooters compete, and trust me it is a fierce competition all the way with them.  The competition is always grand but the fun they have is always obvious too.  Way to go shooters, we will see yall back in October.
